Author Fees

To support the editorial process, peer review management, article production, website maintenance, and long-term digital preservation, Journal A applies the following publication fees.

Article Submission Fee

Free

Authors are not charged any fee for submitting manuscripts to Journal A. All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening before being considered for peer review.

Article Processing Charge (APC)

IDR 500,000 (Five Hundred Thousand Indonesian Rupiah)

The Article Processing Charge (APC) is payable only after a manuscript has been accepted for publication following the peer-review process. The APC covers:

  • Editorial management

  • Double-blind peer review administration

  • Copyediting and proofreading

  • Layout and typesetting

  • DOI registration

  • Online publication

  • Long-term digital archiving

Payment instructions will be provided by the editorial office after the manuscript receives final acceptance.

Withdrawal Fee

Authors who request to withdraw their manuscript after it has entered the peer-review process will be charged a Withdrawal Fee of IDR 500,000.

This fee is applied because editorial resources have already been allocated, including reviewer assignment, editorial evaluation, and manuscript processing.

The withdrawal request will only be processed after the applicable withdrawal fee has been settled.

No withdrawal fee will be charged if the manuscript is withdrawn before it is assigned for peer review.

Waiver Policy

Authors who experience genuine financial hardship may submit a request for a partial or full APC waiver. Waiver requests will be evaluated individually by the Editorial Board and must be submitted before the publication process begins.

Approval of a waiver request is entirely at the discretion of the Editor-in-Chief and does not influence the editorial decision regarding manuscript acceptance.

Refund Policy

Once an article has been accepted and the APC has been paid, the fee is generally non-refundable, except in cases where publication cannot proceed due to an error or decision made by the publisher.
